These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Zellige AI Labs ("Zellige", "we", "us", or "our"), including our website, AI chat product, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or legal guardian's permission. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate, complete information and keep it up to date. One account per person unless we explicitly authorize otherwise.
You may sign in through third-party providers (such as Google or GitHub via our authentication partner). You agree to comply with those providers' terms in addition to ours.
2. The Services
Zellige provides AI-assisted conversational tools and related features. The Services may change over time: we add, modify, or remove features, and we may release new models with different capabilities, pricing, and limits. We will give reasonable notice of material changes when practical.
3. Plans, Billing, and Refunds
We offer free and paid tiers. Free tiers have usage limits (rate limits, token caps, or feature restrictions) that may change. Paid tiers unlock additional capacity and features as described at checkout. By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment processor (such as Stripe) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. You will retain paid access through the end of your current billing period. We generally do not offer refunds for partial periods, except as required by applicable law.
Taxes and fees. Prices shown do not include taxes unless stated. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Services to:
- Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right;
- Generate or distribute content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or that sexually exploits or endangers minors;
- Create malware, phishing content, or material designed to compromise security;
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or organization;
- Generate disinformation, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content designed to mislead about real people, events, or political processes;
- Reverse engineer, scrape model weights, or attempt to extract training data;
- Circumvent rate limits, usage caps, or security measures;
- Use the Services to develop a competing AI product or to train competing models on our outputs at scale;
- Resell, sublicense, or provide the Services to third parties without a written agreement.
We may suspend or terminate access for suspected violations. Egregious abuse may be reported to law enforcement.
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of the prompts, files, and other content you submit ("User Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, and transmit User Content solely to operate, secure, and improve the Services.
We do not use your User Content to train our foundation models unless you explicitly opt in. We may use aggregated, de-identified signals (for example: latency, error rates, usage volume) to monitor and improve Service reliability.
You are solely responsible for User Content. Do not submit content you do not have rights to share, personal information about others without their consent, or regulated data (health records, financial account numbers, government identifiers) unless a separate written agreement authorizes it.
6. AI Outputs
The Services generate outputs based on your inputs ("Outputs"). To the extent we have rights in Outputs, we assign those rights to you, subject to these Terms. You are responsible for reviewing Outputs before relying on them.
Outputs may be inaccurate.AI systems can produce incorrect, biased, or fabricated information ("hallucinations"). Do not treat Outputs as professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or otherwise). Verify information independently before acting on it.
Similar prompts may produce similar Outputs across different users. We make no guarantee of uniqueness or non-infringement for Outputs.
7. Intellectual Property
We and our licensors own the Services, including all software, models, designs, logos, and trademarks. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, we reserve all rights.
8. Feedback
If you send us feedback, suggestions, or bug reports, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use that feedback without restriction.
9. Third-Party Services
The Services may integrate with third-party services (authentication providers, payment processors, model hosting infrastructure, analytics). Your use of those services is governed by their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.
10. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that Outputs will be accurate, complete, safe, or suitable for any particular use.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zellige and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Services.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Services is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Zellige harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from (a) your use of the Services, (b) your User Content, or (c) your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at our discretion, including for suspected violation of these Terms, legal risk, or extended inactivity. On termination, your license to use the Services ends; sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes, we will provide notice (for example, by posting an updated effective date and, where appropriate, notifying you in-product or by email). Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing in this section limits your rights under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived by contract.
